Master

Master’s degree — an academic degree awarded to individuals who have completed the second cycle of higher education in countries participating in the Bologna Process. In Azerbaijan, the master’s education system was legalized by the 1993 education law as the second stage of higher education. It is intended for those who have completed a bachelor’s degree and aims at deeper specialization, scientific research, and professional development. The duration is typically 2 years. A master’s degree grants the right to pursue doctoral studies.
