1) Invitation Letter An invitation letter for education is an official document issued by the Passport and Visa Service Department of Ukraine. This document confirms that the student has been admitted to the university and is allowed to enter the country to receive educational services. The invitation is prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The document is valid for 180 days from the date of issue. The cost of the invitation depends on the university and ranges from $50 to $100. Required documents: International passport High-quality scanned copy of the school certificate (attestat) 2) Company Insurance (Agency Service) To enter Ukraine, every student must obtain an invitation, which is issued through registered companies that have agreements with universities. These companies act as intermediaries between you and the university. Company responsibilities: Providing detailed information about required documents Assisting with document preparation and translation Explaining the university contract during application Helping fill out application forms and other documents They also assist in resolving any issues during the study period. For part-time students, they organize and send session (exam) invitation letters. The cost of company insurance depends on the university and study type, is paid at admission, and remains valid throughout your studies. 3) Annual Tuition Fee Tuition fees vary depending on the university. A contract is signed during admission, where the tuition fee for the entire study period is fixed and does not change. For full-time students: First year: payment for half-year or full year Following years: payment can be made in 4 installments per year For part-time students: Payment is made twice a year at the beginning of each session 4) Registration in Ukraine Part-time students do not need registration due to the visa-free regime between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, allowing them to stay up to 6 months. Full-time students must register within 3 months after arrival in Ukraine. During the study period, a residence permit (“vid na zhitelstvo”) is issued. Required documents: International passport Copies of personal data and border crossing pages Ukrainian translation of passport pages with нотариal certification (2 copies, must be done in Ukraine) 4 photos (3.5 × 4.5 cm) Proof of residence (dormitory or private housing) Health insurance Payment receipts for state duties State fees for approximately 4 years amount to $500–600. 5) Dormitory or Private Housing A residential address and proof of accommodation are required for registration. Dormitory prices start from $300 and vary by university. If you own or rent a property, providing proof of residence is sufficient. 6) Medical Insurance Every student must have medical insurance in Ukraine. This insurance allows access to free medical check-ups and examinations at student hospitals.
